The Nap that Changed it All…Brittanee Slack

The last time I wrote a post I mentioned a very remarkable experience in my life. Today I want to speak about something totally different yet it is very similar to the last blog post that I wrote. It is never too late to begin again.

A couple of days I took a nap. I run a very busy family business so it is very common for me to take a nap because my sleep schedule is rarely ever on track. For some reason this nap reset my mind. I can’t remember any of the stresses that I had before I took the nap. The nap made it all disappear. Since this nap I have been redoing some quotas for my family business and everything has catapulted for the best.

Rest is rarely talked about in Christianity and when it is discussed it is talked in a negative tone. I see nothing wrong with resting your mind and getting peace. We live a loud and fast paced life and we have to be careful that we don’t get lost in it. Anytime is a good time to put down all of the distractions and focus on what is important. It sometimes takes getting away from familiarity to figure out what counts. Something as simple as a nap can really place you where you really need to be. Use this week as a reminder to get some rest and rejuvenate. It will make a difference.
